We developed and deployed a streaming data listener that catches messages from equipment telemetry systems and consolidates them into actionable records to be consumed and displayed in typical BI settings.
Prior to this effort, daily batch processing activities were needed before any visibility into yesterday’s performance was possible. Under the data engineering paradigm, they now have real time insights into the state of their systems and retain their ability to perform historical and retrospective assessments using traditional BI tools.
